Situated on the foothills overlooking Port Edward, Beaver Creek farm was bought in 1984 by Ed Cumming, with the first coffee crop planted in 1986. Three years later we harvested our first crop of Coffee Arabica.
Over the next ten years we established the reputation of our home-grown coffee, winning over many coffee converts in the KZN area. Going from strength to strength, we imported our first batch of coffee beans in 1994. That landmark has seen us build our business from a small family concern, in the process becoming a thriving roastery and producer of some of the worlds’ finest coffee.
Since 1994 Beaver Creek and Red Berry have gone on to roast more than 66 varieties of coffee at the roastery at the Beaver Creek Estate.
